Andrew Anderson

Royal Commission 1851 Industrial Research Fellow

Andrew has an integrated MChem degree in Chemistry with Nanotechnology from Heriot-Watt University. Andrew joined OnS through the internship grant programme provided by the Royal Society of Chemistry. While at the company Andrew has been redesigning the process with the aim of simplifying roll-out and reducing the cost.

In October 2017 Andrew was awarded an Industrial Fellowship by the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 to develop a new technique which will create microscopic thermal siphons in heat exchangers. The award allows Andrew to simultaneously continue his work at OnS and to work towards a PhD in Chemical Engineering at University College London.
