Eleonora joined Oxford nanoSystems as Research Scientist in March 2019. She has a MSc in Chemistry from the University of Florence, Italy and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham. Eleonora has 5 years of experience in nanotechnology applied to the development of both optical and electrochemical biosensors for biomedical applications. After gaining a PGCE in Science from the University of Worcester while writing her PhD dissertation, and a brief experience as a Science Teacher, she decided to go back to research. She is particularly interested in any aspect of nanotechnology and surface chemistry and she wants to expand her electrochemistry and analytical chemistry skills.
